A Bright Start to the New Season: Brilliant Results for Dance Club “Master” at the First National Competition in Kirkkonummi!

On August 30, 2025, the first Finnish national competition of the new dance season took place in Kirkkonummi after the summer break. Dance Club “Master” opened the season with energy, confidence, and great success: our students earned medals in nearly all declared categories — both in couple and solo performances!

Many of our dance couples performed in new pairings, and for several dancers, it was their debut — even more exciting that they stepped straight onto the podium!

Children 2, Open Class

Eldar Vorobjev & Emilija Jukic — 2nd place (silver)

They also competed successfully in:

Waltz Cup — 2nd place

Cha-Cha-Cha Cup — 1st place

Children 2, D Class

Juniors 1, Open Class

Lev Pimenov & Taisia Zemljannikova — 2nd place (silver)

In addition to her couple performance, Taisia Zemljannikova took part in multiple solo dance categories — and her performance became a true dance marathon, bringing home six medals:

1st place — Viennese Waltz

2nd place — Slow Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Samba

3rd place — Tango

Total Medal Count for Our Dance Club:

Gold (1st place) — 6 medals

Silver (2nd place) — 11 medals

Bronze (3rd place) — 8 medals

Total: 25 medals — an excellent season opener!
