Two Championships — Two Victories: Zemljannikov and Kirkmann One Step Away from Total Triumph
On April 12, 2025, the Finnish Championship in Standard (European) Dance took place in the city of Valkeakoski. Once again, the “Master” Dance Club was proudly represented by our couples, who demonstrated both skill and ambition on the national stage.
🥉 In Juniors 1, Maximilian Pehkonen and Olivia Ignatyeva won the bronze medal, taking third place and showing consistent improvement and strength.
🥇 In Juniors 2, Jelisei Zemljannikov and Gertrude Sofia Kirkmann were crowned Finnish Champions in Standard Dance! This marks their second national title this season — they previously won the Latin Championship in February. Now they lead in two out of the three major disciplines.
💫 The final chapter of the season lies ahead: the Finnish Ten Dance Championship, scheduled for the second half of 2025. This event will determine the overall champions in both Latin and Standard styles. The couple Zemljannikov / Kirkmann is on a clear path toward a full-season triumph, and we proudly support their journey!
