Four Age Groups — Four Podiums: Triple Gold and Bronze at the 2025 Finnish Latin Dance Championships!
On February 8, the 2025 Finnish Latin Dance Championships took place in Oulu, gathering the top dancers from across the country to compete for national titles.
Our team from the “Master” Dance Club delivered an outstanding performance – winning medals in all four major age categories!
🥉 In Juniors 1, Maximilian Pehkonen and Olivia Ignatyeva claimed the bronze medal with a confident and elegant performance.
🥇 In Juniors 2, Jelisei Zemljannikov and Gertrude Sofia Kirkmann became Finnish Champions, showcasing strong technique and artistry in their winning performance.
🥇 In the Youth category, Nikita Shchurov and Angelina Ignatyeva secured the gold medal, impressing the judges with their passionate Latin dance.
🥇 In the Adult division, Dmitri Borovski and Ellen Puotiniemi took the championship title. This marks a back-to-back national win for Dmitri, who confirmed his top status this year with a new partner. Together, they debuted with a commanding victory.
🏆 All our champions received Finland’s transition trophies, and the “Master” club reaffirmed its place as a leading force in Latin dance in the country. We are proud of our dancers and excited for what the season holds next!
